National Guaranteed Vinyl, Inc. was started on a chance moment when our founder was first fascinated with a repair completed on his car back when he was in high school in 1981. A woman repaired his vinyl seat in a 1972 Dodge car with a repair method which was invented in Sweden back in the late 1960's. This vinyl repair method was one of the most high tech repair methods on the market at that time.
Showing interest in the product, he was given the opportunity to buy a franchise for the vinyl repair system in 1983.He made several refinements on the product allowing more strenuous heat. In 1984 he started offering repairs on school bus seats in East Texas. He was overwhelmed with the schools' interest in the product.
By 1986 he developed an in house repair method for schools. The result was an instant success. The schools could purchase their own repair kits. After using up their products they were able to restock supplies for their kit. By 2001 he pursued a patent on his product insuring his particular method wouldn't be duplicated.

The vinyl we use meets and exceeds MVSS302 fire codes and fire block capabilities.
- Guaranteed Service: All seat covers, foams and vinyl repairs are guaranteed against any defects in workmanship N.G.V.'s maintenance crew will replace any boards, brackets and/or board panels at the time of service.
